About the Role
This position is with a McDonald's restaurant independently owned and operated by a franchisee, not by McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds the license to use McDonald’s branding and products but operates as a separate entity responsible for all employment matters including hiring, firing, and scheduling. McDonald's USA does not participate in employment decisions for this location.
As a General Manager, you will oversee the entire restaurant operation to ensure it is profitable and maintains McDonald's high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This leadership role involves goal setting, planning, and working closely with your leader and departmental managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the restaurant to achieve profitability while upholding McDonald’s customer service and cleanliness standards.
- Collaborate with leadership to establish restaurant goals and develop plans to accomplish them.
- Lead and support Department Managers, helping them set department-specific goals, monitor progress, and provide coaching for performance improvement.
- Responsible for hiring and cultivating talent among Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team for the future.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a General Manager at high-volume locations, preferably within quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail sectors.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a managerial role.
