General Manager

About the Role

This position is with a McDonald's restaurant franchised and operated independently from McDonald's USA. The franchisee manages all employment-related responsibilities, including hiring and supervision. McDonald's USA does not participate in employment decisions or have access to applicant information.

The General Manager leads a high-volume quick service restaurant aiming to deliver excellent quality, service, and cleanliness. This role requires strategic goal setting, operational oversight, and team leadership to ensure business profitability and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all restaurant operations to maintain profitability and meet McDonald’s high customer standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to establish restaurant goals and develop plans to achieve them.
• Lead and support a team of Assistant and Shift Managers by setting targets, monitoring progress, and coaching to enhance department performance.
• Recruit and develop management staff to build a strong leadership team for the restaurant’s future success.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a General Manager, especially in managing high volume locations.
• Strong background in quick service restaurants preferred; hospitality or retail experience is also valuable.
• Must be at least 18 years old to qualify for a management position.
