About the Opportunity

This position is with a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald’s branding and products, distinct from McDonald’s USA corporate. The franchisee solely handles employment decisions including hiring, supervision, and staffing. McDonald’s USA has no jurisdiction over employment matters.

Job Overview

The General Manager is charged with operating a profitable establishment while upholding McDonald’s rigorous standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. This challenging role involves collaborating with leadership to set and execute restaurant goals.

The role includes leading a team of Assistant and Shift Managers by guiding goal-setting, monitoring progress, and delivering coaching to elevate each department’s performance, thereby advancing overall restaurant success.

The General Manager may also oversee recruitment and development of management staff to ensure a well-suited leadership pipeline.

Candidate Profile

Ideal applicants bring prior General Manager experience at busy locations, preferably in quick service restaurants or related hospitality or retail sectors. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for managerial roles within corporate-run restaurants.
