General Manager

About the Role

McDonald's South El Monte is seeking a General Manager to oversee the successful and profitable operations of the restaurant, ensuring it consistently meets the high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness that McDonald's is known for. This key leadership position involves managing the entire restaurant team, guiding day-to-day activities, and driving business success while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations including food preparation, guest experiences, and direct supervision of crew and management staff.
• Develop and execute plans to recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, and motivate employees to maintain high performance.
• Manage business decisions involving inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management.
• Ensure food safety protocols are strictly followed according to McDonald's standards.
• Maintain a safe environment for guests and team members, upholding operational standards and maintenance schedules.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old to qualify for a management position.
• Legal U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must possess a California Food Handler Card, which can be obtained through training provided during orientation.
