General Manager

Position Overview

The General Manager role at a corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurant involves leading the business to profitability while maintaining high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This leadership position requires collaboration with Department Managers to set and achieve restaurant goals, developing teams, and ensuring efficient operational management.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and run a profitable restaurant committed to McDonald’s customer service standards.
• Work with leadership to establish strategic restaurant goals and implement plans to achieve them.
• Lead and support Department Managers by setting goals, monitoring progress, and offering coaching and guidance.
• Recruit, hire, and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team for future success.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Prior experience as a General Manager operating high-volume restaurants is preferred.
• Experience in quick service restaurants is highly desirable; hospitality or retail backgrounds are also considered.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for management roles in corporate-owned restaurants.
