About the Role
This position is at a restaurant that is independently owned and operated under a franchisee license using McDonald's trademarks and products. The franchisee is the actual employer and solely responsible for all employment-related decisions such as hiring, firing, scheduling, and management. McDonald's USA has no involvement in these employment matters.
Role Overview
The General Manager is tasked with overseeing the profitable operation of the restaurant, ensuring adherence to McDonald's high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. They collaborate with leadership to establish and pursue restaurant objectives and implement strategic plans to reach these goals.
Leadership responsibility extends to managing a team of Department Managers, helping them define departmental goals, tracking their progress, and providing guidance and coaching to enhance overall performance. The General Manager often recruits and develops Department and Shift Managers, building a strong leadership team for the future.
Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants should have prior experience as a General Manager in high-volume restaurant settings, preferably in quick service restaurants or related fields such as hospitality or retail. Managers must be at least 18 years old.
