About the Role
This position is with a McDonald's restaurant managed by an independent franchisee, which operates separately from McDonald's USA, including all employment and staffing decisions. Employed by the franchisee, the General Manager oversees the restaurant's daily operations ensuring adherence to McDonald's high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
Role Overview
The General Manager leads the restaurant towards profitability by setting and implementing strategic goals in coordination with franchise leadership. This leader manages Department Managers by helping them set objectives, monitoring progress, and offering guidance to improve departmental performance. Additionally, responsibility includes hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to sustain a skilled leadership team for the future.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates have previous experience as a General Manager in fast-paced, high volume quick service restaurant settings, or in related hospitality or retail environments. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to manage a corporate-owned McDonald's location.
