About the Role
This opportunity is with a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald’s branding and products. The franchisee acts as an independent employer responsible for all employment decisions including hiring, staffing, and discipline. McDonald’s USA is not involved in these employment matters.
Job Summary
The General Manager’s key responsibility is to operate a profitable restaurant while ensuring it meets McDonald's high standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This role involves collaborating with leadership to establish restaurant goals and developing strategic plans to achieve them.
Team Leadership
The General Manager leads a team of Department Managers by setting departmental goals, tracking progress, and providing coaching to enhance each department’s performance, thereby improving overall restaurant operations. Responsibilities may also include recruiting and developing Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team for the future.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Applicants should possess prior experience as a General Manager managing high-volume locations, preferably within quick service restaurants. Experience in hospitality or retail industries is also valued. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to assume managerial roles in corporate-owned restaurants.
