Job description
Purpose of Your Role
At Checkers & Rally’s, you have the opportunity to impact lives by supporting our Franchisees, Teams, and Guests. As part of the Corporate Field Operations group, your primary duty is to implement the restaurant’s operational plan by driving sales and profit targets while delivering excellent service for both Guests and Team Members. The General Manager oversees all facets of the restaurant to establish it as the preferred choice for customers and employees alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve budgeted sales and profit objectives through effective management of the profit and loss statements.
- Regularly analyze restaurant data to develop and implement strategies that boost sales, profitability, service standards, and operational efficiency.
- Assess staffing requirements and recruit suitable candidates to fulfill each position effectively.
- Ensure proper staffing coverage during shifts to maintain smooth operations and optimal Guest satisfaction.
- Conduct training for Team Members and Managers on operational protocols, policies, procedures, and customer service expectations.
- Handle Guest complaints and enforce adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Offer continuous performance feedback and coaching to staff members.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable atmosphere for both employees and Guests.

Candidate Profile
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, with food safety certification considered a plus.
- At least two years of management experience in a restaurant setting, especially within Quick Service Restaurants (QSR).
- Basic proficiency in mathematics.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including extended schedules.
- Energetic and capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
