General Laborer

Role Overview

Join Pratt Industries as a General Laborer where you will receive comprehensive training to work in our corrugating department. This position involves operating machinery, assisting machine operations, and driving forklifts to support production needs. Full-time, year-round employment is available in a stable and growing manufacturing environment.

Work Schedule and Compensation

This is an hourly (non-exempt) role paying between $18 and $19 per hour, based on experience. Multiple shifts are available including first, second, and third shifts. Overtime and weekend work may be required depending on business demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate or assist with various manufacturing machinery, including forklifts.
• Follow directions with limited supervision while adhering to safety and operational guidelines.
• Perform basic math and material handling tasks such as lifting and loading.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate work tasks.
• Participate in ongoing training and internal performance audits.
• Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness.

Candidate Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Previous experience in manufacturing preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability and willingness to learn machine operation and manufacturing practices.
• Basic computer skills.
• Exemplary safety record, strong attendance, and reliable work history.
• Exhibit organization skills and commitment to workplace orderliness.
