Job Overview

The General Laborer role involves maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of plant equipment and work areas. This position supports various plant operations to ensure efficiency, adhering strictly to safety and quality standards.

Key Duties

• Adhere to safe work practices and policies to prevent injuries to self and others, including following Standard Operating Procedures.
• Assume responsibility for food safety as a collective commitment.
• Participate actively in all required training sessions and apply learned skills and knowledge onsite.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment and housekeeping throughout the facility.
• Collaborate as a team member to achieve operational objectives.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by management as necessary.
• Support the Wet End Team across product lines.
• Assist the Distribution Team with palletizing tasks.
• Contribute to shutdowns, start-ups, and cleaning operations.

Education & Experience

• High school graduate or equivalent education.
• Successful completion of the Job Skill Evaluation is required.
• Competency in basic arithmetic operations and percentage calculations to enable appropriate adjustments.
• Maintain an acceptable safety and attendance record.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage of $20.28.
