Job Overview
Aramark Canada invites motivated individuals to join our team in Ottawa as General Utility Workers. This role is foundational to maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchenware and work areas, contributing to the safety and satisfaction of our guests. Responsibilities
- Ensure all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, kitchen equipment, and utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station, including the three compartment sink and surrounding areas.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned properly, is functional, and report malfunctions to management promptly.
- Perform light custodial and maintenance duties as required.
- Uphold a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service to guests, clients, coworkers, and customers.
- Follow all Aramark safety policies and procedures, emphasizing food safety and sanitation standards.
- Safeguard company property by adhering to security protocols.
Qualifications
- Understanding of basic sanitation practices and procedures.
- Capability to adhere to safety rules, particularly when handling hazardous chemicals.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical readiness for tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing or walking.
- Willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment as required.
