Role Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical systems and equipment within the hotel.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues including wiring, lighting, sockets, switches, and distribution boards.
• Respond to electrical maintenance requests across guest rooms, public spaces, kitchens, and staff areas.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure electrical systems are safe and fully operational.
• Carry out electrical installations, repairs, and minor upgrades as required.
• React promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities while adhering to hotel safety protocols.
• Assist the Engineering department with additional maintenance duties as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical certification or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or closely related discipline.
• At least 2 to 3 years of electrician experience, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, wiring, lighting, motors, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Capability to interpret basic electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
