General Custodian

Overview

Val's Services is hiring General Custodians tasked with ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of designated zones within educational institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning operations.
• Sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and various surfaces regularly.
• Handle waste disposal, recycling processes, and snow or ice clearance.
• Maintain the appearance of exterior areas, especially near building entrances.
• Execute additional custodial assignments as instructed.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven record of dependable work performance.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and adhere to guidelines.
• Physical fitness to undertake strenuous activities including lifting objects up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive motions such as bending, reaching, and prolonged standing.
• Possession of dependable transportation and clearance through a background check.
