About the Role

Pepkor Lifestyle seeks a motivated and dependable General Assistant to become an integral part of our retail store team in Broadhurst, GA. This position entails supporting daily operations through maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, ensuring well-stocked and appealing product displays, delivering high-quality customer service, and fostering effective teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards daily for kitchen, restrooms, and store premises in compliance with OHASA regulations, ensuring tidy aisles and safe product displays.
• Manage stock by unloading deliveries, replenishing shelves, performing inventory counts, displaying promotional materials, applying suite treatments, and reporting any stock damages or losses.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers and resolving conflicts to surpass customer expectations and adhere to the store's service standards.
• Effectively organize daily tasks, collaborate positively with colleagues, and proactively develop personal professional skills.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess Grade 12 Certificate (NQF Level 4).
• At least one year of previous experience in a general worker role.
• Familiarity with OHASA rules, retail customer service principles, and store policies.
• Strong abilities in communication, time management, multi-tasking, attention to detail, interpersonal relations, and problem-solving.
