About the Role

Pepkor Lifestyle seeks a dependable and energetic General Assistant to enhance our retail store operations. This role involves ensuring store cleanliness, managing stock and merchandising activities, offering outstanding customer service, and collaborating effectively within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen, restrooms, and store premises according to OHASA standards, ensuring aisles and displays remain tidy and secure.
• Handle deliveries by unpacking goods, replenishing shelves, conducting stock inventories, setting up promotional materials, applying suite treatments, and reporting any stock damage or losses.
• Provide exceptional customer care by resolving conflicts, adhering to established service protocols, and consistently exceeding customer expectations.
• Efficiently manage daily tasks, foster positive relationships at work, and pursue ongoing personal development within the role.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of a Grade 12 Certificate (NQF Level 4).
• At least one year of professional experience working as a general worker.
• Familiarity with OHASA regulations, retail customer service best practices, and relevant store policies.
• Proven skills in communication, time management, multitasking, attention to detail, interpersonal relations, and problem-solving.
