GenAI Forward Deployed Engineer, Google Cloud (English, Korean)

Role Overview

Google Cloud is recruiting a GenAI Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to collaborate directly with customers in Singapore, integrating cutting-edge AI technologies with practical production systems. This role surpasses traditional advisory capacities by entailing hands-on coding, debugging, and delivering tailor-made AI agentic solutions embedded within clients' operational settings. You will tackle technical challenges including integration complexities, data preparation, and state management barriers to elevate AI solutions to enterprise-grade levels. Acting as a vital conduit, you will not only provide meticulous deployment services but also supply valuable real-world insights to shape Google Cloud's AI product evolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve sophisticated AI applications, progressing from quick prototypes to robust agentic workflows such as multi-agent systems and model context protocol servers, generating tangible business value.
• Design and implement seamless integrations between Google's AI offerings and customers' existing infrastructures, incorporating APIs, legacy datasets, and security constraints as part of a specialized engineering team.
• Create and maintain efficient evaluation pipelines and monitoring frameworks to guarantee agentic systems meet high standards in accuracy, safety, and responsiveness.
• Detect recurring usage patterns and bottlenecks in Google’s AI stack, transforming them into reusable components or formal enhancement requests for product teams.
• Collaborate closely with customer engineering teams to embed Google-level development best practices, ensuring sustained project success and widespread adoption by end users.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related domain, or commensurate practical experience.
• Minimum one year of professional software development experience using Python or similar programming languages.
• Proven expertise designing AI system architectures on cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience constructing data pipelines for both structured and unstructured data employing vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)-style architectures to support enterprise AI use cases.
• Demonstrated capability in delivering production-grade AI-powered solutions from initial design to deployment.
• Fluency in both Korean and English to support necessary multilingual business communications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced academic credentials such as a Master’s or PhD in AI, Computer Science, or a technical discipline.
• Background implementing multi-agent frameworks utilizing platforms like LangGraph, CrewAI, or ADK alongside complex patterns like ReAct, self-reflection, or hierarchical delegation.
• Experience spearheading technical discovery sessions to inform solution design.
• Familiarity with "LLM-native" metrics including tokens per second and cost-per-request, as well as techniques to optimize state management and precise tracing.
