About the Role

Ahalia Medical Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a qualified Specialist/Consultant Gastroenterologist to join their dedicated healthcare team. This role involves delivering thorough clinical care for patients with digestive system disorders through outpatient consultations, diagnosis, formulating treatment plans, and continuous patient management.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care for gastrointestinal patients including outpatient assessment and management.
• Conduct inpatient gastroenterology consultations and coordinate related care plans.
• Perform advanced endoscopic procedures with clinical expertise.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation of all outpatient and inpatient medical records, including detailed consultation notes and procedure reports.
• Utilize diagnostic imaging tools such as X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound effectively to aid clinical decisions.
• Ensure adherence to Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation standards and all pertinent regulations.
• Engage in quality improvement projects maintaining high standards of patient safety and medical care.

Qualifications and Experience

• Holds a valid Specialist or Consultant qualification in Gastroenterology.
• Proven clinical expertise in gastroenterology and performing endoscopic techniques.
• Eligible for healthcare licensing with UAE regulatory authorities (Department of Health).
• Demonstrates strong dedication to patient-centered care and medical excellence.
