Role Overview

The Gardener position at Treemendous is a full-time role based onsite in Mumbai. Responsibilities include routine landscape maintenance activities such as planting, pruning, weeding, soil management, and maintaining the overall condition and aesthetics of both indoor and outdoor plants. The role supports the setup and care of vertical gardens, moss walls, and designer planter arrangements following prescribed design plans and maintenance routines.

The gardener will monitor and manage irrigation systems, adjust watering schedules, apply fertilizers and pest control treatments as necessary, and ensure cleanliness and safety of the work environment. Collaboration with the design and maintenance teams is essential, along with observing safety protocols and maintaining professional client interactions at project locations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in gardening and landscape upkeep for indoor and outdoor settings.
• Knowledge of landscaping principles and garden design to assist with planning layouts and selecting plants.
• Experience with irrigation systems and moisture management.
• Understanding of plant health, soil varieties, fertilizer use, and pest/disease identification.
• Capability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail, dependability, and ability to adhere to maintenance schedules and safety standards.
• Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture preferred; vocational horticultural training or certification is advantageous.
• Effective communication skills to interact with team members and clients; familiarity with corporate or urban landscaping contexts is beneficial.
