Role Overview
This full-time onsite position in Dubai entails daily garden maintenance duties including planting, watering, pruning, weeding, fertilizing, and overall care of landscaped zones. The role includes the safe operation of common gardening tools and equipment, ensuring tidy and secure workspaces, aiding in the installation of new plants, turf, and basic landscape features, and adhering to supervisors' work plans. Reporting on plant health or irrigation concerns, supporting seasonal soil preparation, and cooperating with fellow team members while upholding company safety and quality standards are fundamental responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Practical ability to perform gardening tasks such as planting, pruning, weeding, and lawn maintenance in outdoor settings.
- Basic understanding of plants suited to local climate conditions and a willingness to acquire garden and landscape upkeep skills.
- Competence in safely handling and maintaining standard gardening tools and adherence to safety practices at all times.
- Strong dependability, a commitment to following instructions, and efficient teamwork capabilities.
- Physical stamina to undertake outdoor tasks including standing, walking, lifting, and working across different weather conditions.
- Basic English communication skills; familiarity with other prevalent regional languages is a plus.
- Prior gardening, landscaping, or groundskeeping experience is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn on the job is essential.
