About Wynn Al Marjan Island

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE, scheduled to open in 2027 in Ras Al Khaimah, located approximately 50 miles from Dubai International Airport. This resort will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 dining and drinking venues including restaurants, lounges, and bars, along with a theater, beach club, multiple swimming pools, a five-star spa, salon, a shopping promenade, and a specialized events and celebrations center.

Role Summary

The Gaming Porter - Public Area works within the resort's Public Area team, ensuring the casino's public spaces meet pristine standards and provide excellent guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrive punctually for shifts, wearing proper uniform and identification badges.
• Maintain cleanliness of the casino according to five-star quality standards following a strict cleaning schedule.
• Notify supervisors promptly of any maintenance problems or equipment malfunctions.
• Conduct deep cleaning tasks periodically including public restrooms, offices, ceilings, air ducts, and other hard-to-reach fixtures.
• Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment like vacuum cleaners and mops.
• Report lost and found items to the supervisor and handle them responsibly.
• Perform duties such as toilet or cloakroom attendant as needed.
• Move and arrange furniture when directed.
• Be fully knowledgeable about the entire resort’s amenities and services.
• Assist with tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Maintain immaculate cleanliness of public casino areas.
• Greet guests courteously and professionally.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve complaints promptly to their satisfaction.
• Communicate guest feedback to management.
• Engage positively and professionally with colleagues, management, and contractors.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
• Maintain proper grooming and demeanor to department and company standards.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, aiming to prevent hazards.
• Participate actively in company recycling and environmental conservation programs.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in hotel public areas is preferred.
• Demonstrates adaptability, attention to detail, responsibility, dependability, excellent memory, a consistently positive work ethic, and attitude.
• Knowledgeable on the proper use of detergents, floor care, cleaning chemicals, and equipment is advantageous.
• Experience working in an integrated gaming resort is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent proficiency in English.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and reaching elevated spots.
• High school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent with at least one year of work experience.
• Experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, diverse cultural setting.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays.
