About The Role
We are seeking a Gaming Manager to oversee our gaming room at Ramsgate Hotel in Henley Beach, South Australia. The position offers a base salary of $79,600 plus superannuation, a bonus scheme, and group-wide discounts. Our gaming room boasts 32 modern machines, full SA Lotteries facilities, and a dedicated Gaming Bar. We pride ourselves on providing a clean, inviting atmosphere with a team committed to exceptional customer service.
Daily Responsibilities
- Build rapport with regular customers, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with the Publican to maintain smooth, safe operations within regulated guidelines.
- Mentor and guide the gaming team to deliver outstanding service and gaming knowledge.
- Maintain a positive, service-oriented presence during every shift.
Role Requirements
- This hands-on role includes manual handling tasks such as moving stock, kegs, and deliveries, so physical capability to perform these duties safely is essential.
Candidate Profile
- Experience working in a gaming room setting as an attendant, supervisor, or manager.
- Prepared to advance leadership skills learned from previous managers.
- Strong interpersonal skills with confidence and pride to represent the gaming room.
- Comprehensive understanding of compliance and responsible gaming practices.
- Current certification for Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG/RCG) as required by the state.
