Furniture Designer / Technical Office Engineer

About the Role

Holz Teak, a bespoke furniture and woodwork manufacturing factory located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a proficient Technical Office Engineer / Furniture Designer to work remotely. The role focuses on delivering detailed technical documentation and supporting manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive, production-ready shop drawings for custom furniture items and joinery components.
• Develop precise cutting lists and optimize panel layouts to maximize material usage.
• Prepare detailed material take-offs and Bills of Materials (BOM) covering boards, solid wood, hardware, and fittings.
• Address technical aspects of joinery, including assembly processes and integration of hardware solutions.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 2 years of demonstrated experience working in a technical office within a furniture manufacturing environment.
• Advanced skills in 3D modeling using software such as SolidWorks, SketchUp, or Rhino, complemented by proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Thorough knowledge of woodworking materials, joinery techniques, and contemporary hardware systems.
• Strong meticulousness and the capability to maintain productivity when working remotely.
