Job Overview
As a Warehouse Furniture Assembler at Raymour & Flanigan, you will be instrumental in assembling and inspecting various pieces of furniture purchased by customers, contributing essential support to turning houses into homes. This role involves assembling sofas, dining tables, beds, and other items with a commitment to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and inspect customer furniture ensuring high product standards.
- Maintain a neat and safe work area while following the company's safety protocols.
- Operate hand tools provided by the company safely and effectively.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment demonstrating urgency without compromising quality.
- Handle heavy furniture pieces, frequently lifting, lowering, pushing, or pulling items exceeding 200 pounds.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Authorization to work in the United States without need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to stand for extended durations during work shifts.
- Familiarity with using hand tools such as screwdrivers, drills, and wrenches.
- Commitment to a drug-free, smoke-free workplace.
