Fundraising Internship - Remote, Part-Time

About the Internship

Join a mission-driven initiative to improve food access in Macon's Brookdale Avenue neighborhood, a designated USDA food desert. The company is launching a professionally managed food truck park that supports local entrepreneurs and provides affordable, diverse meal options to underserved residents. This internship focuses on building and nurturing donor relationships to fuel this impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain a qualified list of potential donors based on five specific donor personas.
• Locate and verify decision-makers and accurate contacts in businesses, organizations, and community groups relevant to fundraising.
• Identify prospects for cash and in-kind support.
• Compose polished English communications such as donor emails, outreach messages, follow-ups, and campaign updates.
• Conduct authorized outreach and ensure consistent follow-up actions.
• Use a shared system to track prospects, contacts, responses, commitments, and forthcoming steps.
• Assist in spotting local media opportunities and facilitate interview scheduling when appropriate.
• Adhere to a multi-phase crowdfunding strategy and provide regular progress reports.

Candidate Eligibility

• Available to work remotely.
• Able to commit 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM Indian Standard Time (equivalent to 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time).
• Start dates between September 18, 2026, and October 23, 2026.
• Willing to dedicate three months to this internship.
• Possess relevant skills and interest in fundraising or related areas.

Required Skills and Experience

• Exceptional professional and persuasive English writing skills.
• Ability to conduct deep Internet research and pinpoint valuable prospects beyond basic searches.
• Experience in fundraising, sales, lead generation, business development, outreach, public relations, crowdfunding, or similar fields.
• Comfort with requesting support and maintaining professional follow-up.
• Strong independent work ethic, organizational skills, and ability to deliver measurable outcomes without constant supervision.
• Understanding that quality prospect lists must translate into meaningful engagement and results.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly stipend ranging from USD 125 to 135.
• Performance-based 10% commission on donations generated through a unique tracking link during the internship.
• Commission payouts calculated and disbursed at the end of the internship period.
• Letter of recommendation upon completion.
• Flexible work hours with a 5-day workweek.
