Fund Manager - Real Estate

Overview

A prominent regional investment firm in Dammam is seeking an experienced Real Estate Fund Manager to lead and grow its Real Estate Funds platform. This pivotal senior role reports directly to the Chief Investment Officer and is central to shaping the firm's alternative investment strategy, enhancing portfolio outcomes, and cultivating relationships with investors within a substantial regional real estate investment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and expand the firm's Real Estate Funds strategy and platform by identifying new fund and investment vehicle opportunities.
• Oversee performance monitoring, diversification, and liquidity management of the existing real estate portfolio.
• Evaluate investment recommendations before submission to the Investment Committee to ensure strategic alignment and performance objectives.
• Build and maintain strong connections with institutional investors, fund managers, financial institutions, and real estate developers.
• Originate opportunities for new funds, co-investments, and joint ventures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements across all activities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Real Estate Funds team to enhance capabilities and performance.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a pertinent discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in real estate investments, alternative assets, or real estate fund management.
• Demonstrated success managing the entire investment lifecycle—from origination to exit—within fund structures and managing institutional investor relationships.
• Advanced expertise in real estate financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Proven ability to navigate economic cycles and effectively present investment insights to institutional investors.
• Proficiency in Arabic and prior experience within the Saudi Arabian market, particularly given the requirement for Capital Market Authority (CMA) related exposure.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA or CAIA are mandatory; Certified Market Expert exams CME1 & CME4 are preferred.
