About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Functional Business Analyst with over a decade of experience to join our Sydney-based team at XPT Software. The successful candidate will excel in analyzing business needs, engaging with stakeholders, and delivering technological solutions that align with strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and thoroughly document business requirements.
- Facilitate workshops involving both business and technical teams.
- Develop detailed Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) and Business Requirement Documents (BRD).
- Generate user stories, workflow diagrams, and use cases to guide development.
- Assist in crafting solution designs and validate their functionality.
- Work closely with the development, quality assurance, and project management teams.
- Conduct gap analyses and propose process enhancements.
- Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, and address defects.
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule with successful outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of eight years’ experience as a Business Analyst, specifically within the Financial Services sector.
- Proficient in creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and use cases.
- Well-versed in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
