Job Overview

This role entails preparing loads for delivery and maintaining a tidy, safe, and organized lumber yard. You will be responsible for loading and unloading lumber and other building supplies, as well as operating a forklift. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Construct delivery loads accurately and efficiently.
• Keep the lumber yard clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Load and unload lumber and building materials.
• Operate forklift machinery safely.
• Follow instructions and communicate effectively in person and via short correspondence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to occasionally lift objects weighing up to 80 pounds.
• Basic literacy skills to understand simple instructions and write brief correspondence.
