Job Overview
As a Sales Associate at our Midtown Calgary location, you will utilize your knowledge and experience to assist Pet Parents in selecting optimal nutrition and pet care products. Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and assist customers with purchases.
- Prepare merchandise orders, complete banking tasks, and manage related paperwork.
- Stock smaller items (under 10 lbs) such as pet supplies and household goods in the sales area.
- Maintain a clean store environment by sweeping, dusting, and performing general maintenance tasks.
- Help unload deliveries consisting of pet food and supplies (up to 50 lbs) and stock products accordingly.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail or customer service roles.
- Proficiency with POS systems.
- Friendly, outgoing personality complemented by strong customer service skills.
- Physical ability to frequently lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work scheduled shifts including weekends and evenings.
- Reliable transportation to commute to the store.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage ranging from $16.00 to $17.00.
