Position Overview
The role focuses on merchandizing Pepsi products at retail locations, following company standards to boost sales and profitability.
Key Duties
- Stock, rotate, and arrange products in coolers, vendors, and shelves according to set guidelines.
- Follow company policies and wear necessary personal protective equipment consistently.
- Communicate effectively with retail staff, Pepsi management, and team members.
- Assist and engage consumers at retail sites.
- Keep backroom areas clean, organized, and tidy.
- Handle and organize alcoholic beverages as part of daily tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality of pricing and sensitive customer data.
- Regularly complete merchandising logs, mileage and store reports, time-off requests, and other paperwork.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Store Management to identify sales opportunities using Point of Sale materials and securing displays.
- Support Account Manager with related activities as needed.
- Adhere to assigned work schedules with dependable attendance and work overtime when required.
- Perform other related duties to support business objectives.
Requirements and Eligibility
- Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: 0–1 year in merchandising or stocking, plus prior customer service experience in retail or warehouse settings.
- Must hold a valid driver's license and be insurable to operate a vehicle throughout employment.
- Ability to acquire and comply with industry-specific licensing requirements as necessary.
- Knowledge of retail sales dynamics, beverage industry, and standard merchandising techniques.
- Skilled in external customer service across diverse environments.
- Capable of working independently, quickly, and efficiently without supervision.
- Adaptable to change, professional, positive demeanor, proficient with reading diagrams, maps, and planograms.
- Trainable on operating mechanical equipment including pallet jacks and tow motors.
- Physically able to lift heavy products repeatedly and multitask effectively.
- Certified or able to operate Powered Industrial Trucks safely per guidelines.
