Position Overview
We are seeking a Merchandiser based in Pocatello, Idaho. This role involves organizing and presenting beverage products enticingly on shelves, displays, and other store areas to attract customers. The ideal candidate delivers exemplary customer service to both store owners and customers, handles complaints professionally, and operates independently with high accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Arrange products according to approved plans or self-suggested ideas endorsed by management.
- Apply pricing and descriptive signage on displays, shelves, or floor areas.
- Move stock from customer storage to floor displays ensuring compliance with "Sell By" dates while optimizing in-store product presentation and minimizing stockroom inventory.
- Place orders for assigned accounts following established protocols to prevent stock outages.
- Develop display concepts or implement those suggested by Merchandiser and Sales Managers.
- Maintain daily, clear communication with key store personnel addressing service and product requirements.
- Build or set up display aids using company-provided Point of Sale materials.
- Wear the company uniform and maintain a professional, tidy appearance toward customers and within the market.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors at any time.
Requirements and Working Conditions
- Candidate must be capable of lifting up to 70 pounds.
- A valid driver’s license is essential.
- The work environment usually includes moderate noise levels and occasional exposure to outdoor weather.
