Full-Time Meat Department Sales Associate (m/f/d)

Job Overview

As a Full-Time Meat Department Sales Associate, you will be responsible for the placement, presentation, and upkeep of meat and sausage products as well as the self-service shelving within the store. Providing professional service and advising customers with expertise is key. You will ensure compliance with legal regulations such as HACCP, the Infection Protection Act, and Food Law, and implement these standards within the meat department. Additionally, you will oversee the quality and accuracy of incoming goods deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and maintain the presentation and condition of meat and sausage goods and self-service shelves in the store.
• Deliver professional customer service and provide competent advice.
• Observe and apply statutory regulations including HACCP, Infection Protection Act, and Food Law within the meat department.
• Monitor and inspect incoming goods deliveries for quality and accuracy.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in retail food sales, ideally as a meat sales specialist, or alternatively, openness to career change.
• Enjoyment in interacting with people and a passion for retail and food products.
• Strong customer service orientation and team collaboration skills.
• Friendly, confident demeanor with professional conduct.
• Flexibility, motivation, commitment, and the ability to work independently.
