Role Overview

We are seeking dedicated Laundry Aides to support our community by maintaining a clean, safe, and dignified living space for our residents. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, reliability, and a genuine caring attitude. As a team member, you will be responsible for proper handling and cleaning of garments and linens to uphold Silverado’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, wash, and categorize laundry items within the facility
• Ensure proper cleanliness and respectful handling of residents' clothing and linens
• Support department and community objectives to promote a quality environment
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards throughout the laundry areas

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent educational qualification is preferred
• Comfortable working in environments with animals and pets
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Physically active role involving walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to interact with individuals affected by Alzheimer’s disease and dementia
• Reliable transportation to ensure consistent attendance and punctuality

Work Schedule and Compensation

This is a full-time position scheduled on an AM shift with four days on followed by two days off. Working hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Anticipated hourly pay ranges between $19 and $20 USD.
