Role Overview

The Laundry Aide plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents by handling laundry tasks with diligence and care. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, and a compassionate attitude toward service.

Key Responsibilities

• Collecting, cleaning, and sorting laundry for the community
• Ensuring garments and linens are handled properly and kept clean
• Supporting departmental and community goals
• Maintaining a sanitary and safe workspace

Qualifications & Requirements

• Preferably holds a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
• Comfortable interacting with animals and pets
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Physically active: able to walk, bend, and lift items up to 50 pounds
• Willing and able to work closely with individuals experiencing Alzheimer’s and other dementias
• Reliable transportation to uphold attendance and punctuality standards

Work Schedule & Compensation

This is a full-time position working AM shifts from Thursday through Monday. The anticipated hourly wage ranges between $18 and $20.
