Role Overview
The Keyholder plays an essential role in ensuring excellent store operations and customer experiences. Acting as a trusted representative, they help maintain safety standards, drive sales, coach team members, and uphold the company’s core values centered on care and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage cashier duties and assist customers with their purchases.
- Prepare merchandise shipments, handle banking, and complete related paperwork.
- Stock small merchandise items weighing under 10 lbs in sales areas.
- Perform general upkeep including sweeping and dusting to maintain store cleanliness.
- Help unload and stock heavier deliveries (up to 50 lbs) into inventory.
- Open and close the store following established operational policies.
- In absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager, delegate daily assignments to Associates.
- Undertake various additional tasks as needed to support store functions.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail or customer service environments.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Friendly and outgoing demeanor with strong customer service orientation.
- Physical ability to repetitively lift weights up to 50 lbs.
- Availability for flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Dependable transportation to and from the workplace.
- A valid driver’s license might be necessary.
