Full-Time Floor Technician in McAllen, TX

Job Overview

This role involves performing various cleaning duties within designated areas by following scheduled routines and utilizing prescribed methods to maintain hygiene and safety standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Correct and safe application of cleaning chemicals.
• Identification, disposal, and transportation of bio-hazardous waste materials.
• Operating assigned cleaning machinery safely and efficiently.
• Performing damp buffing and spot treatment on carpeted floors.
• Stripping and applying finishes to hard surface flooring.

Qualifications and Expectations

• Successfully complete initial training and demonstrate proficiency in the use of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Commit to and comply with the South Texas Health System (STHS) Compliance Program and Code of Conduct by adhering to all policies and procedures.
• Attend required compliance training sessions and promptly report any suspected compliance issues to the Compliance Officer.
