Job Summary

As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, utensils, kitchenware, and work areas to ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove food residues from dirty dishes and either wash by hand or load into dishwashing machines according to assigned procedures, ensuring thorough sanitation.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays following established protocols for sanitation.
• Polish silverware using various equipment such as burnishing tumblers, chemical dips, buffing wheels, and hand cloths as required.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and maintain chemical and temperature standards outlined for dishwashing operations.
• Keep dishwashing areas organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to uphold sanitation and safety standards.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces regularly.
• Dispose of trash properly by using designated containers and steam clean or hose garbage cans.
• Assist with moving supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, including loading and unloading deliveries.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support kitchen operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dishwashing or similar role is preferred.

Compensation

The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $15.00 to $17.00.
