About the Role
Join a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store in St Paul, Alberta and provide health, beauty, and convenience services to your community. This position puts the customer experience front and centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and warmly engage with all customers.
- Maintain a tidy and well-organized checkout station.
- Greet customers with a friendly attitude.
- Scan or enter product data accurately.
- Handle cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum transactions with precision.
- Request the customer's PC Optimum Card during each purchase.
- Complete necessary documentation regarding receipt and return of merchandise.
- Merchandise assigned areas including facing, signing, and labeling.
- Adhere to loss prevention standards by controlling cash, lottery, and stamp inventory.
- Present a professional image consistent with uniform and dress code policies.
- Follow all health, safety, store policies, and procedures.
- Ensure that housekeeping and store image standards are maintained.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Good planning, judgement, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to balance teamwork with efficiency in customer order processing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to neatness.
- Highly efficient in processing customer orders.
- Proficient computer and cash register skills.
- Well-organized with the aptitude for record keeping.
- Detail oriented and meticulous in handling transactions.
