About the Role

Join Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, as a full-time Barista at Atrium Health Floyd in Rome, GA. We are seeking experienced baristas who can prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and related food and beverages with attention to quality and service. This position plays a vital role in delivering nourishing meals while maintaining high standards within our healthcare setting.

Work Schedule and Location

The position entails full-time work with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with shifts and specific days varying, including rotating weekends and holidays. This opportunity is remote in terms of application acceptance but requires onsite presence at the Rome, GA location.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering following standardized recipes and measurements.
• Accurately process customer orders using POS systems and handle cash and credit payments.
• Maintain supply levels by replenishing condiments and beverages while keeping the service area clean and organized.
• Ensure proper portion control, food presentation, and serving temperatures according to HACCP standards.
• Sanitize and maintain cleanliness of equipment, supplies, utensils, and the workstation.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards for food preparation.
• Keep display equipment free of debris during service and present food attractively.
• Provide courteous customer service and communicate any concerns to supervisors.
• Assist customers swiftly to prevent delays and promote selling techniques through effective communication.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a barista is mandatory.
