Our goal is to maintain the integrity of digital content and shield companies from deception involving altered images, videos, and documents through our cutting-edge solutions. We serve industries relying heavily on the credibility of digital visuals, such as combating insurance fraud and detecting forged documents within banking.
Role Overview
As a Backend Developer, you will be central to developing our main product, the "Fraud Scanner." Your responsibilities include managing the API's stable live operations and evolving its features continuously. This role invites individuals eager to bring innovation and committed effort toward safeguarding truthful digital media.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems primarily using Python.
- Manage AWS infrastructure components such as EC2 instances, API Gateway, VPC, S3, and DynamoDB.
- Implement containerization of applications with Docker and oversee container environments.
- Perform rigorous testing and debugging to uphold high standards of software quality and performance.
- Assist in troubleshooting and propose effective technical solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Between one and two years of relevant experience as a backend developer or in a related capacity, focused on scalable web applications or platforms.
- Strong proficiency with programming languages including Python, Shell scripting, Terraform, and Flutter.
- Experience with AI integration at the application layer, including tools like Gemini, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude-Code, Codex, Gemini-CLI.
- Familiarity with both relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and NoSQL options like DynamoDB.
- Exposure to AWS services, specifically EC2, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
- Excellent analytical skills and capability to solve complex problems.
- Adeptness in quickly adapting to new technologies and environments.
- Strong communication and cooperative team working skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Self-driven, detail-focused, and passionate about technology advancements.
- Beneficial to have experience with Docker and FastAPI frameworks.
