Role Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer proficient in creating dependable software and integrating modern AI capabilities in production environments. This role requires working with Python, JavaScript, Next.js, and Golang to develop backend services, user interfaces, APIs, databases, and AI-driven workflows. This position suits individuals who enjoy building practical products rapidly and thrive at the convergence of software engineering and applied AI. Responsibilities include translating AI concepts into scalable, observable, and reliable production-grade systems. The role is based in Singapore and offers a competitive monthly base salary between SGD 6,000 and 7,200, supplemented by yearly performance bonuses rewarded for outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full stack applications using Python, JavaScript, Next.js, and Golang.
• Design and execute agentic AI workflows encompassing multi-step task management, tool integration, memory, and multi-agent coordination.
• Implement and manage AI Ops pipelines supporting large language model (LLM) systems, covering deployment, monitoring, evaluation, prompt/version control, cost management, and observability.
• Integrate LLMs, AI models, external APIs, internal tools, and data sources into production environments.
• Architect scalable solutions addressing service boundaries, data flows, caching, queue management, fault tolerance, and optimization of performance.
• Create efficient database schemas and author reliable, optimized queries.
• Develop clear, well-documented API contracts for both internal and external consumers.
• Containerize solutions using Docker and deploy using Kubernetes.
• Collaborate closely with product, research, and engineering teams to transition AI features from prototypes to production-ready systems.
• Take ownership of system reliability, scalability, and performance, including monitoring, incident response, and debugging.
• Engage in code reviews, architecture discussions, technical planning, and product discovery activities.
• Operate with agility while prioritizing thorough quality and continuous engineering improvements.
• Work collaboratively across all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Contribute to creating technical documentation and runbooks supporting long-term system maintainability.

Candidate Requirements

• A solid 3 to 6 years experience in developing full stack applications, backend services, APIs, and production systems.
• Professional proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript programming languages.
• Experience with Golang or a strong willingness to quickly learn this language.
• Competence with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform; familiarity with ansible is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience working with cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure setups.
• Practical knowledge of Docker; familiarity with Kubernetes is preferred.
• Proven experience in building or managing AI-driven systems, including agentic workflows and applications based on large language models.
• Understanding of agent orchestration concepts like multi-step reasoning, tool usage, memory implementation, multiple LLM invocations, and coordination of multiple agents.
• Solid foundation in AI Ops or MLOps concepts, including version control for models/prompts, evaluation pipelines, observability, and operational support in production environments.
• Deep understanding of system architecture principles covering scalability, reliability, caching, load balancing, and distributed systems trade-offs.
• Experience designing and consuming various APIs such as REST, gRPC, or GraphQL with associated security, version control, and documentation practices.
• Strong database expertise including schema design, query efficiency, and data flow frameworks.
• Excellent debugging, analytical thinking, communication skills, and a proactive ownership approach.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced start-up-like environments with changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Exposure to large language model providers and APIs, e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or open-source alternatives.
• Experience in prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, vector databases, or AI agent frameworks.
• Understanding of security principles for both conventional software and AI-based systems.
• Familiarity with observability tools including logging, distributed tracing, metrics collection, and alert systems.
• Background in fast-moving product teams, startups, or applied AI environments is beneficial.
