Role Overview

We are seeking a proficient and adaptable Full Stack Software Developer with 4 to 7 years of professional experience. The role involves designing, developing, maintaining, and improving Windows desktop, UWP, and modern web applications. You will work extensively across the technology stack, including frontend interfaces, backend services, and REST APIs. This position demands hands-on engineering skills, problem-solving aptitude, ownership mindset, and effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Windows Desktop and UWP applications.
• Create modern, responsive web interfaces using React.js or similar front-end frameworks.
• Develop backend services and full web applications incorporating RESTful APIs.
• Integrate desktop applications with backend APIs and services.
• Debug and resolve issues across frontend, backend, API, and desktop layers.
• Analyze and enhance existing codebases by fixing bugs and adding new features.
• Write clean, modular, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct unit and integration testing, participate in quality assurance processes.
• Participate in peer code reviews and adhere to software development best practices.
• Collaborate closely with product management, design, QA, and engineering teams.
• Communicate with clients to understand requirements, troubleshoot, and deliver progress updates.
• Take responsibility for delivering assigned features on schedule.
• Contribute to architectural and technology choices to support product evolution.
• Stay current with modern development tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Technical Skills Required

• Proficiency with C# and .NET for Windows/Desktop development.
• Experience building Windows Desktop applications and familiarity with UWP architecture.
• Knowledge of Windows application debugging, XAML, and desktop UI development; experience with WinUI or Windows App SDK is a plus.
• Proficient in React.js or comparable modern frontend frameworks supporting JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong backend development skills using .NET Core or ASP.NET Core technologies.
• Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs including security, versioning, and error handling.
• Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL; knowledge of database design, querying, indexing, and transactions.
• Familiarity with ORM frameworks like Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core.
• Competency in version control systems like Git and platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Awareness of CI/CD processes and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience leveraging Microsoft Copilot for improved coding and debugging is advantageous.

Additional Desired Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Experience modernizing legacy Windows/UWP applications and working with WinUI 3 / Windows App SDK.
• Knowledge of containerization with Docker.
• Familiarity with authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or JWT.
• Understanding of application security practices and secure coding standards.
• Ability to work with third-party API integrations.
• Background in automated testing and CI/CD pipeline management.

Experience and Education Requirements

We expect candidates to have between 4 to 7 years of software development experience with strong skills in both Windows/Desktop and full-stack web development. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields is preferred. Equivalent practical experience and strong technical capabilities are also acceptable.

Applicants should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Business Systems, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Electronics and Computer Engineering, or Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
