- Build and maintain Node.js APIs and webhooks integrating forms with automation tools, CRM systems, Supabase, and Snowflake.
- Establish automated testing and monitoring solutions to detect issues like broken forms, tracking failures, and lost leads proactively.
- Enhance martech systems behind lead management, including auto-prioritization workflows, deduplication logic, and attribution mechanisms.
- Create and maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for all owned systems, leveraging AI tools to streamline the process.
Success Metrics
- Reliable lead attribution with accurate source tagging, UTM parameters, click IDs, and full reconciliation between ad platforms and CRM.
- Quick detection and resolution of failures such as broken forms and tracking discrepancies, minimizing time-to-fix from weeks to hours.
- Rapid page performance meeting Core Web Vitals standards, with page loads under two seconds across target regions.
- Strong SEO foundations maintained without regressions across all locales during releases.
- Comprehensive documentation allowing team members to easily understand and support built systems.
- On-time delivery of the martech roadmap with clean replacement of legacy flows.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum five years of professional full stack development experience with balanced expertise in frontend and backend technologies.
- Proficiency in React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Excellent UI design sensibilities, delivering visually appealing, responsive, and accessible interfaces with attention to detail.
- Hands-on experience deploying on Vercel platform, including advanced caching, ISR, edge middleware, and preview workflows.
- Experience managing large headless websites, preferably with CMS platforms like Storyblok, Sanity, or Contentful.
- In-depth technical SEO expertise demonstrated via past projects.
- Proven track record setting up precise analytics and attribution implementations including Google Tag Manager, GA4, server-side tagging, conversion APIs, UTM parameter management, and consent handling.
- Strong skills in web performance optimization covering caching systems, CDNs, rendering strategies, and Core Web Vitals metrics.
- Comfortable integrating AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor into regular workflows, with diligent code reviewing and testing.
- Clear and effective communication skills with disciplined documentation practices.
- Located in New Zealand or Australia with full legal work rights and ability to work asynchronously across multiple time zones.
Preferred but Not Required
