Full Stack Developer

Overview

The role involves full stack development with a strong emphasis on Java and React technologies. It requires expertise in backend frameworks, frontend development, and familiarity with both frontend and backend tools and architectures.

Core Responsibilities and Skills

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka, Spark, Microservices architecture, Cassandra, Solr, and various database technologies.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions with Splunk, and optimize caching and messaging frameworks within Service Oriented Architectures (SOA).
• Apply strong computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns to build efficient applications.
• Create rich user interface components using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Document Object Model (DOM) manipulation.
• Work extensively with React.js, understanding component lifecycle, hooks, and overall React principles to build scalable frontend applications.
• Utilize popular React state management workflows such as React Query, Redux, Context API, and Flux to manage application states effectively.
• Employ modern JavaScript standards (EcmaScript ES6 and above) for scripting and application logic.
• Use development and build tools including Node.js, Yarn, NPM, and version control systems like Git.
• Write unit tests using frameworks like Jest to ensure code quality and robustness.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and work with front-end and back-end interaction layers.
• Understand and apply UI/UX design principles and frontend architectural best practices.

Additional Skills (Optional but Advantageous)

• Experience with TypeScript to enhance JavaScript codebase robustness.
• Familiarity with additional testing libraries beyond Jest.
• Knowledge of backend technologies such as Node.js may provide added value.
