About the Role
micro1 is seeking proficient Full Stack Developers to collaborate on an innovative client project aimed at training advanced AI systems. You will employ your comprehensive software development skills to influence the learning and reasoning capabilities of AI models through high-quality realistic data input. Prior experience in AI is not necessary; a strong foundation in development is the focus.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Reinforcement Learning Environments that assess AI models' problem-solving abilities across both frontend and backend domains.
- Create reproducible testing environments along with standard reference solutions for software problems.
- Contribute well-structured code examples, debugging techniques, and development insights in languages including JavaScript/TypeScript, Python3, Java, or Go.
- Identify and resolve bugs that involve the user interface and underlying APIs or databases.
- Design and implement small to medium features end-to-end, ensuring adherence to best coding practices.
- Enhance existing frontend and backend codebases for improved clarity, consistency, and maintainability.
- Document your development strategies, reasoning, and code choices to support the quality of AI training data.
- Conduct thorough reviews of peers' code and technical submissions to confirm accuracy and clarity.
Preferred Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of practical experience developing both frontend and backend applications.
- Familiarity with at least one frontend framework such as React, Vue, or Angular, and one backend technology stack like Node/Express, Python/Django/Flask, or Java/Spring.
- Comprehensive understanding of the connection between frontend and backend systems via APIs.
- Strong debugging skills for issues spanning across frontend and backend layers.
- Effective documentation and communication abilities to clearly articulate technical decisions.
- A keen interest or curiosity towards artificial intelligence and its challenges; however, prior AI experience is not required.
