About the Role
Virtusa is seeking an experienced Senior AI & Full Stack Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of cutting-edge, enterprise-level Agentic AI solutions. The role involves establishing a comprehensive architectural framework for autonomous multi-agent systems, blending advanced Python backend services with modern frontend technologies, scalable cloud infrastructure, and cutting-edge vector database integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage multi-agent workflows using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, or LangChain.
- Develop scalable, event-driven microservices with Python frameworks including FastAPI, Django, and Flask, supporting real-time interfaces through WebSockets, RESTful APIs, or GraphQL.
- Lead cloud-native deployment initiatives utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and enterprise cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Integrate advanced vector databases like Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate, or Pgvector to facilitate retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, supporting long-term memory and contextual data retrieval.
- Provide technical leadership by making full-stack architectural decisions, enforcing AI security and observability standards, and mentoring cross-functional engineering teams.
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum of eight years' experience in software architecture, systems engineering, or solution design.
- Extensive proficiency in Python for backend microservices, alongside working knowledge of modern frontend stacks such as React, Next.js, or TypeScript.
- Practical experience with agentic and generative AI frameworks including LangGraph, CrewAI, and AutoGen, particularly in tool-calling and autonomous AI workflow management.
- Strong expertise in distributed and event-driven microservice architectures with asynchronous communication patterns.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as continuous integration and deployment on AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
