About the Role
TikTok is seeking enthusiastic and skilled engineers to join our team focused on building and optimizing a cutting-edge, high-performance, large-scale distributed infrastructure for live streaming. As part of our Global Live Revenue team, you will play a vital role in the full development lifecycle of key product features aimed at enhancing the live streaming experience for millions of users worldwide.
Team Overview
The TikTok Live Revenue Team innovates the revenue ecosystem involving gifting and other monetization features that are secure, user-friendly, and innovative. Our work uses various frontend technologies to design meaningful features that impact a vast audience of live streamers and viewers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop user interfaces for TikTok Live across PC and mobile devices, including middle and operating platforms, user products, and multi-scale events.
- Build infrastructure and engineering solutions supporting TikTok Live's business and productivity tools and platforms.
- Deliver superior user experiences through high-quality design and coding to grow the TikTok Live ecosystem.
- Drive efficient collaboration strategies to improve remote and cross-regional communication supporting business iterations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a computing-related field.
- Strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; capable of independent development without reliance on frontend libraries.
- Experience with mainstream frontend frameworks and JS libraries (React, Vue, AngularJS), with a solid grasp of their design concepts and use cases.
- Knowledge of frontend engineering principles, modular development, and maintaining large-scale applications.
- Skilled with frontend debugging and testing tools, and ability to solve problems independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Over 3 years of experience in frontend development.
- Understanding of front-to-backend collaboration, strong abstract thinking abilities, and familiarity with algorithms and data structures.
