Front Store Supervisor - Full Time Day Shift

About the Role

Join a locally operated Shoppers Drug Mart store where you will play a key role in delivering health, beauty, and convenience services to your community. The customer remains the focus in everything you do.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer service operations including cashier management, cash handling, and merchandising duties.
• Ensure cashier and merchandising staff comply with store policies and operating procedures.
• Provide training and ongoing support to cashiers and merchandisers on their job functions.
• Implement and uphold all loss prevention measures; oversee daily cash office inventory and cashier tracking processes such as tracking sheets and PC Optimum procedures.
• Maintain proper employee presentation consistent with Uniform Policy.
• Respond to customer inquiries about product locations, rainchecks, and more.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues like refunds and exchanges according to company guidelines.
• Encourage participation in the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) surveys.
• Ensure shelving is clean, organized, and products are properly rotated.
• Set up and dismantle product displays as directed by Assistant or Front Store Managers.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and store image quality.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements.
• Perform clerical, banking, and cashier duties as needed.
• Comply with store policies and loss prevention protocols consistently.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.

• Strong planning, judgement, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to think independently related to organizing store operations.
• Effective problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Computer literacy for operational tasks.
• Good organizational and time management abilities.
• Familiarity with products and supplies handled in the store.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $20.10 per hour. Compensation will be influenced by candidate experience, knowledge, and location.
