Job description
Position Overview
This role assists in leading the Front End department by managing processes, responding to inquiries and issues, and fostering associate development through instruction and training. A strong focus is placed on maintaining excellent customer service and overseeing task completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by warmly greeting customers, promoting products and services, assisting with merchandise location and purchase decisions, resolving issues, and escalating concerns appropriately.
- Maintain safety standards by following safe work practices, emergency procedures such as safe lifting techniques, area cleanliness, emergency codes, and theft prevention.
- Address customer and employee concerns while providing guidance as needed.
- Oversee front-end operations including delegation, assistance, and follow-up; ensure adequate coverage and coordinate breaks.
- Collaborate with the People Lead to review schedules for the team.
- Conduct area tours with Coaches and associates to identify training opportunities; develop team members through teaching and constructive feedback.
- Lead daily team meetings to communicate updates, set goals, and monitor productivity, focusing on metrics such as scanning accuracy and participation in company initiatives.
- Promote a safe and clean work environment by adhering to company policies, completing safety checks, and securing displays and fixtures.
- Complete tasks within GTA/Workday systems and support management activities.
- Work with Coaches and People Leads to manage associate performance, facilitate growth discussions, and assist in recruiting and hiring processes.
Additional Information
The starting wage for this position is $19.25 per hour.
