Front End Team Lead

Position Overview

This role assists in leading the Front End department by managing processes, responding to inquiries and issues, and fostering associate development through instruction and training. A strong focus is placed on maintaining excellent customer service and overseeing task completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by warmly greeting customers, promoting products and services, assisting with merchandise location and purchase decisions, resolving issues, and escalating concerns appropriately.
• Maintain safety standards by following safe work practices, emergency procedures such as safe lifting techniques, area cleanliness, emergency codes, and theft prevention.
• Address customer and employee concerns while providing guidance as needed.
• Oversee front-end operations including delegation, assistance, and follow-up; ensure adequate coverage and coordinate breaks.
• Collaborate with the People Lead to review schedules for the team.
• Conduct area tours with Coaches and associates to identify training opportunities; develop team members through teaching and constructive feedback.
• Lead daily team meetings to communicate updates, set goals, and monitor productivity, focusing on metrics such as scanning accuracy and participation in company initiatives.
• Promote a safe and clean work environment by adhering to company policies, completing safety checks, and securing displays and fixtures.
• Complete tasks within GTA/Workday systems and support management activities.
• Work with Coaches and People Leads to manage associate performance, facilitate growth discussions, and assist in recruiting and hiring processes.

Additional Information

The starting wage for this position is $19.25 per hour.
