Job description
About the Role
This position involves assisting with leadership responsibilities over Front End operations and department procedures, addressing challenges and inquiries, and fostering growth of associates via training and mentorship. The role demands upholding exceptional customer service standards while guaranteeing the completion of assigned tasks.
Key Duties
- Deliver courteous and friendly service to customers by greeting them, promoting products and services, helping locate merchandise, aiding in purchase choices, resolving issues, and escalating concerns as needed.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols including safe lifting methods, area tidiness, emergency evacuations, register operations, emergency codes, and theft prevention.
- Manage concerns from customers and employees, offering guidance when required.
- Oversee daily front-end operations by delegating tasks, providing assistance, and ensuring adequate coverage including break coordination.
- Collaborate with People Lead to review finalized scheduling.
- Conduct floor tours with Coach and team members to identify training needs and foster development via training and constructive feedback.
- Lead daily Team Huddle meetings at the start of shifts to update associates, set objectives, and review productivity metrics such as scanning accuracy and program participation.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work area by following company policies including completing safety logs and securing displays and fixtures.
- Perform tasks through GTA/Workday systems supporting management functions.
- Partner with Coach/People Lead in performance reviews and growth discussions, and assist recruitment and hiring processes.
Compensation
The minimum hourly wage for this role is $20.25. The rate is also provided in French: Le taux horaire minimum pour ce poste débute à 20.25.
